In case you forgot, he leaves for Hong Kong without Sakura ever telling him her true feelings, though it’s obvious she likes him when she takes the bear and ends up creating the Nameless Card as she thinks about her feelings for him. shipping underrated otps might be hard in a fandom but i hope you can find someone that ships the same way as you do!!! i think it feels nice to have someone to share with your otp thoughts.The final arc of Cardcaptor Sakura leaves Sakura’s relationship with Syaoran up in the air. i dont know the proper words to say to you aside from the simplest phrase i could: i support you! and let me tell you again, don’t feel bad about shipping syaoran and eriol together.
the internet is a complex world of opinions and insights, but i want you to know that i support you and i want you to feel safe in this platform. i really am sorry for what you’ve experienced. Honestly, i’ve always thought that your community felt safe in the fandom but when you brought this up, it came to light that maybe that isn’t always the case. in that light, instead of the energy of “GAY OMG OMG OMG OMG”, i just accepted them as “yep both male, theyre gay, cute!” and end of it. even if they are both males, or females, or a heterosexual couple, as long as they portray the same love as what we could see from touyuki right now, i’d probably still ship them. shipping touya and yukito with the energy of “HAAA? BOTH MALES? THATS SO GAY OMG” was the least i did because i always just see them as two people who are together. i tried to be as clear as possible without being reckless talking about lgbtq community that im not a member of. Honestly, i dont know if i got my message across. if they look good and not harmful, then they rock. if you think they look good, then they do! i believe not all people need to have a deep and researched reasons to ship. i dont represent anyone in the fandom, so this is more of a personal message from me: i want you to know that shipping syaoran and eriol should not make you feel bad! like i said earlier, i think shipping is fun and it brings happiness to our fan imaginations. it upsets me that you guys had to feel uncomfortable in this community where lgbtq people should be comfortable with. clamp has always been an active team that shows lgbtq representation and i learnt to know more of the community through them. im a syaosaku shipper myself and it hurts me that shipping had to be a pathway for someone to feel like this. shipping is fun but when it reaches to the point that someone felt the way you do, i have no words but to say sorry. Now, im really so sorry that you felt that way. or, if clamp already said that syao is bi and im not just aware, kindly tell me. but we all know that clamp has its own universe of portraying feelings (like its usage of “number one person” instead of the direct “i love you”), so a lot is left for the viewers’ interpretation. i think the whole talk about it would just end if clamp tells the fandom themselves that the kid is bi word-by-word.
those who say it’s the moon power hence syaoran’s obvious attraction to yukito could be right, and those who say that syaoran is just attracted to yukito because who wouldn’t could be right as well. the topic about syaoran’s sexuality could still be up for debate up until this day because of so many possibilities. this is long over due but i’ll still go for it.įirst and foremost, im sorry you felt that way.
